FAQ

How do I meet one of the animals on your site?
We require an approved adoption application prior to meet and greets. We are a foster based animal rescue, and in order to be respectful of our Fosters' time, we want to make sure anyone meeting the dogs is approved to adopt (in case you fall in love and want to take them home!).

What is required to adopt an animal?
We require a completed adoption application. If you have owned an animal in the past or currently own any animals, we will complete a veterinary reference. We require all animals in your home to have a history of regular veterinary care and that they are up to date on core vaccines and preventatives. We also require that all animals are spayed/neutered in the home if age appropriate.

I am out of state, can I still adopt an animal?
Yes! However this is done on a case by case basis and you may need to wait until the animal has been spayed/neutered.

I just applied, how long until I hear back?
You should receive an email confirming the receipt of your application through "Shelter Luv". We will review your application and reach out to notify you of the status within 1-5 days of applying. Please be patient, we are a non-profit, volunteer operated rescue and all have full time jobs outside of operating B&B. We promise we are excited to speak with you and value your willingness to choose rescue!

I need to change something on my application that I have already submitted, how do I notify you?
Please email us at info@beaglesandbentleys.org with any application updates or modifications.

Do you all have adoption events?
Yes! We engage in many community events throughout the year. Please follow our social media (instagram or Facebook) to stay informed!
